How to add/change blogger favicon/URL icon : Official Method.



What is Favicon ?  Favicon is an icon displayed next to the URL in the browser. Fav Icon gives unique identit to your site when it is book marked. For people who are using blogger,   ‘B’ is the default blogger Favicon. Previously user has to tweek the code so as to change the favicon. Now Blogger provides an official way to change the Favicon or URL icon. Let us see how to change the icon in step by step.

Add or Change Favicon in Blogger Blog

  1. First Create your Favicon. You can refer my post 3 best sites to create a favicon for creating favicon.
  2. Once created, Login at Blogger Draft
  3. Click Design and you can see an option below. If not you might have logged at blogger.com do login at Blogger DraftBlogger  add favicon
  4. A pop up will open. Upload the icon you generated and save it.

Favicon helps your site or blogger to easily identify among bookmarked sites.
