- Access htaccess.txt in your root directory and rename it to .htaccess
- Visit your Joomla Global Configuration and in SEO settings set all options to ‘yes’ and save.
any help with ugly urls , can’t get rid of numbers in urls .aliases saved without numbers ,but still numbers(article id’ s) in urls .making me crazy should i switch to wordpress ?
Joomla is not great search engine friendly when compared to WordPress. Changing Ugly URL’s is not possible in all themes and moreover their is an extension which helps in search engine friendly url’s but that is paid one
