When comes to hosting I prefer HostGator, DreamHost. Once you buy hosting at these services, instantly you will receive a detail email where you can find your login, password, Name Servers. Generally name servers are in the format of
nsXX.abcd.com
nsYY.abcd.com
Note the above NameServers
#1. Login to your domain control panel
#2. Here you have to Edit Name Servers which can find under options like ‘edit DNS names’, ‘Edit Name Servers’, ‘Edit DNS’, ’Custom DNS’ or other similar names.
#3. Now change the custom DNS servers to servers nsXX.abcd.com and nsYY.abcd.com
#4. Save it.
It takes 48-72 hours to update completly and your domain name is mapped to your host account.
